Dear Readers of Wear Life Journal,
I've got some exciting news to share…I'm diving headfirst into writing not one, not two, but at least three books right now! Okay, truth be told, there might be a few more ideas bubbling up in the background, but I'm laser-focused on these three to bring them to life. As any writer knows, the key to turning dreams into reality is to start weaving those words into existence, one thread at a time. So, here I am, committing to the page and inviting you along for the journey. These books stem from my personal experiences, insights, and awakenings, and they're all tied to the core philosophy of "wearing life" with intention and awareness.
Let's start with the flagship: Wear Life, a self-help guide that's all about reframing how we approach our existence. Think of it this way, we wear life like we wear clothes. Every choice, every habit, every mindset is a fiber that contributes to the fabric of our daily reality, ultimately weaving the grand tapestry of our lives. This book is designed to empower you to recognize those fibers, to choose them wisely, and craft a life that fits you perfectly. Whether you're stuck in a rut or seeking deeper fulfillment, Wear Life will offer practical tools, stories, and exercises to help you tailor your world from the inside out.
Next up is Wear's - The Beef!, my deep dive into the nutrition and food world through the lens of my carnivore awakening. This one is personal, it's the story of how shifting to an animal-based diet transformed my health, led to significant weight loss, and unlocked a host of unexpected benefits like sharper mental clarity, sustained energy, and overall vitality. I'll break down the science, share my triumphs and challenges, and challenge the myths surrounding plant based diets. If you've ever wondered about going carnivore or just want to optimize your fuel for a better "wear" on life, this book will serve up the beef, both literally and figuratively.
Finally, there's Big Natural, a memoir-meets-exposé on my years in the natural products industry. I grew up in this space thinking it was the antidote to Big Pharma, a world of wholesome, earth-friendly alternatives. But over time, I've come to see it's often the same snake, just with different heads: corporate interests, misleading claims, and profit-driven agendas masquerading as "natural" solutions. Through anecdotes from my career, industry insights, and hard-learned lessons, this book will pull back the curtain on what's really going on and encourage a more discerning approach to wellness. It's a call to question the labels and seek true authenticity in our choices.
These projects are in their early stages, but sharing them here feels like the perfect first step to manifesting them. I'll be posting updates, snippets, and behind-the-scenes thoughts right here on Wear Life Journal, so stay tuned if you're interested in following the progress. Your support and feedback mean the world—drop a comment below if any of these resonate with you or if you have questions!
Wearing life with purpose,
Kris Wear
